Coke Florida is looking for a Warehouse Lead in our Transportation Department. In this role, you will be responsible for filling orders and other general duties involving the physical handling of products, materials, supplies and equipment. In addition, you will act as back-up support for warehouse supervisors as needed. This is a great opportunity to grow as a leader with Coke Florida!

Schedule: M- F, 2pm - 10:30pm

Your daily job responsibilities as a Coke Florida Warehouse Lead include, but are not limited to:

  • Filing orders and other general duties involving the physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment
  • Train, coach and provide day-to-day direction to team members as needed
  • Build orders according to assigned load tickets using industrial power equipment
  • Manually lift and move product to restock and repack, ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation
  • Adhere to good manufacturing practices and safety standards
  • Act as back-up support to warehouse supervisors as needed

In order for you to succeed in this role, you should meet or exceed the following requirements:
  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred
  • 1 year of general work experience is required, preferably with some leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to operate a manual/power pallet jack or lift product
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Forklift certification is a plus, but not required

The role of a Warehouse Lead is physical. Physical abilities needed include:
  • Ability to repetitively lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to repetitively push and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance while kneeling, squatting, reaching about the head, reaching at the waist, reaching below the knees, and bending at the knees.
  • Ability to repetitively push and pull manual transport equipment (for example, pallet jack or hand truck) containing product loads a minimum of 100 yards without assistance.
  • Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to exert oneself physically over sustained periods of time to complete job activities.
  • Ability to read information in small, medium and large print.
  • Ability to stand a minimum of 8 hours during the work day up to 10 hours.
  • Ability to walk a minimum of 4 miles during the work day.
  • Frequently work in hot/humid outdoor environment.
