Weekly Pay - Recycling Center - Non CDL Shag Driver

Days: Monday-Friday

Hours: 10am-7pm

Pay Rate: $13-$16/Hour DOE

Job Description : Shag Truck Driver

• Shagging trailers around the company lot only- does not require a CDL but a valid driver's license is required.
• Blue jeans and tees/sweatshirts, comfy shoes all ok

Key Responsibilities :

• Coordinates trailer movements to support daily operations
• Works with internal personnel to insure trailers and materials are ready to support our customers.
• Report the status of the trailers and compliance with the logistics schedules to the logistics manager.
• Monitor and maintain records related to the equipment location, status and availability
• Works with other staff to coordinate activities between multiple shifts.
• Produce and maintain all necessary paperwork for trailer inspections/licensing.
• Maintain equipment maintenance logs.
• Data entry into the computer system
• Preforms trailer maintenance/coordinates outside service with logistic manager/vendors
• Follow safe work practices and work instructions

• High school graduate with 1 year experience in truck and trailer operations

• Truck driving and operational skills; able to safely operate class 5 tractors and maneuver over the road trailers in and out of docks
• Computer skills- must be able to work in Microsoft office suite to maintain records
• Must have a basic understanding of logistic functions and basic understanding of products such as office paper, cardboard, containers
• Driver's license
