Abrasives Incorporated is seeking a full-time employee to represent our growing company to distributors and end-users in the surface preparation and industrial coatings industry. (covering Northern UT, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming)

Abrasives Inc., a 100% employee-owned company and leading provider of Black Magic® abrasive blast media, blast equipment, parts and consumables, is hiring a motivated, self-starting Outside Sales Rep to service Northern UT, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive sales across your territory through face-to-face and remote customer interactions
- Present, Promote and demo top-tier abrasive blast products, including Black Magic®, and blasting equipment
- Build strong relationships and identify new growth opportunities
- Represent a company that you OWN a part of – we're an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan)
What You Bring:
- Willingness to travel regularly (regional travel, no relocation)
- Industrial, construction, or abrasives-related sales experience (2+ years preferred)
- Strong communication and self-discipline
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Bonus if you’ve worked with blast media or surface prep products

Requirements
Job Requirements – Abrasives Inc., Outside Sales Representative
Inter-Mountain West Region
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–5 years of outside B2B sales experience, preferably in industrial, construction, blasting, coatings, abrasives, or related markets
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong ability to develop new business while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships
- Experience managing a large geographic territory with regular overnight travel
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- High level of self-motivation, organization, and time management
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal sales, operations, and logistics teams
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry knowledge of abrasives, blasting media, surface preparation, or industrial distribution
- Existing relationships within the Intermountain West (UT, ID, WY, MT, NV)
- Experience selling to contractors, fabricators, oil & gas, mining, infrastructure, or manufacturing customers
- Familiarity with pricing strategies, margin management, and contract sales
Physical & Travel Requirements
- Ability to travel 50–70% of the time within the assigned territory
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally (product samples, demos, trade shows)
- Comfortable working in industrial and jobsite environments
