Aircraft Ejection Seat Overhaul Technician
Position is located at our Johnstown, PA facility
Martin-Baker America’s Aircraft Ejection Seat Overhaul Technicians perform the complex task of tearing down and rebuilding ejection seats in accordance with comprehensive technical specifications, engineering drawings, and applicable standards. This includes detailed, meticulous inspection, precision overhaul, and specialized testing of all ejection seat components.
Essential Responsibilities:
Repair, overhaul, and reconditioning ejection seats and associated components, restoring full operational capability across multiple MartinBaker ejection seats following detailed technical specifications, standards, and drawings.
Execute precise testing, troubleshooting, and adjustments to verify that all ejection seat components operate within defined performance parameters and comply with safety regulations.
Maintain meticulous records, reports, and technical documentation to ensure strict compliance with industry standards, government regulations, company policies, and customer requirements.
Perform calibration, routine servicing, and preventive maintenance on specialized testing apparatus, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results in line with applicable standards.

Individuals with experience performing precision work with exceptional attention to detail, maintaining the highest safety and quality standards in a missioncritical environment.
Individuals with a high level of analytical and problemsolving skills, with a detailoriented approach to diagnostics, root cause analysis, and effective resolution of technical issues.
Individuals who possess advanced computer skills, that include the ability to accurately document testing data and information for traceability.
Candidates with the following experience are well-suited for this role:
3+ years' experience with Martin Baker Aircraft Company ejection seats.
Previous experience in the overhaul, repair, and maintenance of aircraft ejection seat systems.
Military experience with graduation from U.S. Navy/Marine Corps AME/PR "A" school or U.S. Air Force equivalent
