Automotive Technician - Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for performing accurate diagnostics and high-quality automotive repairs across a variety of vehicle systems. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on technical expertise with strong problem-solving abilities, using both manufacturer-specific tools and personal experience to efficiently identify and resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough and accurate automotive diagnostic procedures using manufacturer systems and tools
• Complete repairs in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining high quality standards
• Stay current with all required manufacturer training and certifications
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including proper care of tools and equipment
• Collaborate with the Parts Department and Service Manager to ensure clear, timely communication regarding vehicle needs and repair status
• Document work performed through well-written, detailed technician notes (CCCs)
• Accurately track and record labor time through proper time-punch procedures
