Canberra | $110k-$130k + Super | Baseline or NV1 Clearance Required Your new companyThis is an opportunity to join a well-established organisation operating in a complex and highly regulated environment. Working closely with leaders across the business, you'll play a key role in providing expert employee relations advice and managing a range of workplace matters.
Your new role
This is a specialist Employee Relations position focused on supporting leaders with performance management, conduct matters, workplace complaints and investigations.Working as a trusted advisor, you'll guide managers through complex people matters, ensure procedural fairness, and support positive workplace outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing employee relations cases from end to end
- Advising leaders on performance and conduct matters
- Supporting workplace investigations and complaint resolution
- Providing practical and compliant ER advice
- Coaching managers through difficult conversations
- Maintaining accurate case documentation and records
- Partnering with stakeholders across the organisation
To be successful, you'll bring:
- Demonstrated experience in Employee Relations, Industrial Relations or HR Advisory positions
- Strong experience managing performance management and workplace conduct matters
- Experience investigating employee complaints and resolving complex people issues
- The ability to build credibility and influence leaders at all levels
- Excellent communication, judgement and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within Defence or other highly regulated environments will be highly regarded
- Australian Citizenship
- Current Baseline or NV1 Security Clearance
- Availability to work full-time from the Canberra office
- Competitive salary package of $110,000-$130,000 plus super
