General Description
The Government Property Administrator is responsible for the strategic oversight, accountability, and compliant management of government-furnished and contractor-acquired property across all Tyonek sites. This role ensures full adherence to FAR Part 45, DFARS 252, DCMA guidelines, and applicable contract requirements, while serving as the primary liaison between Tyonek and government customers on all property-related matters. The position plays a critical role in protecting company and government assets and supporting contract performance through rigorous recordkeeping, auditing, and training.
Duties
Track movement of property by coordinating and documenting applicable forms to accomplish changes in ownership, accountability, or location in accordance with government regulations, customer contracts, and corporate policy.
Review contracts to identify and implement property requirements.
Develop and implement processes and procedures related to the management of customer/government property across all Tyonek sites.
Prepare and submit property reports for customer/government property.
Complete property-related activities at contract completion, including disposition of property in accordance with company, legal, and contractual requirements.
Perform physical audits to meet company and customer requirements, verifying that property records accurately reflect inventory on hand and that equipment servicing requirements are established.
Investigate and report lost, damaged, or destroyed property in accordance with applicable regulations.
Manage internal contractor self-assessment schedules and reviews.
Interface with DCMA and government customer points of contact on all Government Property matters.
Serve as the subject matter expert for property management inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
Train and educate employees on government property regulations, best practices, and the Government Property Control System procedures and related FAR/DFARS requirements.
Travel as needed (up to 25%) to Tyonek sites.
Maintain flexibility to accept work assignments in different areas as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned
Education/Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
CPPS, CPPA, or CPPM certification preferred.
S. Citizenship required.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
4 or more years of experience in property management with an emphasis on government property.
Demonstrated experience with the management and execution of FAR Part 45 and DCMA Guidebook for Government Contract Property Administration.
Experience with PIEE modules including the IUID Registry and GFP Module, and require experience with Government reporting in PIEE.
Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to leverage available resources to accomplish objectives.

May be required to lift up to 25 pounds and carry for short distances.
Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.
