Position Overview
Threat Tec is seeking two highly experienced professionals to provide Interagency Role-Player Support for the NEXT-P Effort. These role players will support training events by portraying senior U.S. diplomatic and intelligence officials, specifically Chief of Station and Defense Attaché roles, during complex, multi-day exercise scenarios.
This is an episodic, contract-based opportunity supporting realistic, high-level training for Special Operations Forces and other mission partners. Candidates must be able to maintain character, professional presence, and operational realism throughout the duration of each exercise.
Key Responsibilities
- Portray high-ranking diplomatic and intelligence officials in complex, multi-day training scenarios while maintaining persona and professional decorum throughout the exercise.
- Provide advisory mentoring to Special Operations Forces leadership on legal, political, and cultural considerations related to embassy and consulate frameworks.
- Maintain strict adherence to operational security protocols, including protection of exercise design and government-sensitive information.
- Participate in verbal after-action reviews and deliver clear, concise, professional written feedback and reports.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance required; Top Secret clearance preferred.
- Direct prior experience serving as a U.S. Ambassador, Defense Attaché (DATT), or Chief of Station (COS).
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience within the Department of Defense, Defense Intelligence Agency, Department of State, or the Intelligence Community.
- Documented experience working directly within a Special Operations Forces (SOF) environment, including one or more of the following:
- Naval Special Warfare (NSW)
- Joint Special Operations Task Force (JSOTF)
- Theater Special Operations Command (TSOC)
- Embassy-based SOF elements
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to provide articulate, constructive feedback in both verbal and written formats.
Work Schedule/ Period of Performance
Current support is needed during the following windows:
- May 4 May 8
- June 7 June 27
This work is episodic and will be performed based on exercise schedule and mission requirements.
