The City of New Richmond is accepting applications for a Journeyman Electric Lineworker or an Apprentice to join our team. We are seeking an energetic individual with a high level of reliability, accountability, and accuracy. The position of Electric Journeyman Lineworker is responsible for constructing, operating and maintaining overhead and underground electrical distribution and transmission systems to effectively deliver municipal electric services to utility customers. An Apprentice lineman would perform these duties under supervision and follow the Bureau of Apprenticeship Standards of Wisconsin for the Electric Lineworker Apprenticeship program.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma, a technical Degree in Electric Power Distribution from an accredited trade school and completion or ability to successfully complete a utility sponsored apprenticeship program. Current valid Wisconsin Commercial Drivers License with air brakes and combination trailer endorsement is required.

Journeyman pay range is $45.35-62.19 per hour based upon experience.
Apprentice pay range is $36.10- 49.51 per hour.
