Leverage your deep technical expertise and leadership to guide cutting-edge projects, fostering growth and innovation in a dynamic environment.As a Lead Technical Program Manager within Consumer and Community Banking Technology, you will promote the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that advance strategic business objectives across the firm. You will leverage deep expertise in technical principles, practices, and methodologies to design and implement innovative solutions, while effectively managing resources, budgets, timelines, and high-performing teams. Your strong analytical reasoning and adaptability will enable you to navigate ambiguity and change, ensuring that technology initiatives remain tightly aligned with evolving business priorities. Drawing on advanced communication and stakeholder management skills, you will build productive partnerships, influence key decisions, and secure alignment on program goals and outcomes. As a subject matter expert, you will also shape operational plans and risk management strategies, upholding the highest standards of quality, control, and professionalism in service delivery.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions
- Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentum
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
- Utilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Champion the adoption of agile methodologies and technical solutions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization
- Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and clients
- Advanced experience in utilizing technical fluency, including knowledge of vendor products and managing vendor relations, to enable on-demand access to shared pools of applications and services
- Proven track record of effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities
- Technical Program Manager Experience :Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions
- Agile / Scrum (hands-on): Demonstrated hands-on experience operating in the Agile (Scrum) framework, including leading and facilitating Scrum ceremonies
- Technical fluency : Strong ability to understand, evaluate, and interpret technical solutions-read architecture diagrams and specs, translate business goals into technical requirements, assess tradeoffs (performance, security, resiliency, cost), and communicate implications clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Prior hands-on experience as a software engineer in at least one core technology stack (e.g., Java, Python, .NET, Node.js), demonstrating deep fluency-able to write/review code, debug issues, and collaborate credibly with engineering teams.
- Good to have Cloud (AWS) and API Gateway knowledge(Apigee/Kong) or experience working in any one technology stack.
