Metal Fabricator / Site Installer

Australian Metal Services is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Metal Fabricator / Site Installer to join our team.

This is a primarily site-based role, working across Tier 1 and Tier 2 commercial construction projects throughout Melbourne. About the Role
You'll be working across a variety of architectural and miscellaneous steel packages, including:

Balustrades
Handrails
Flashings
Structural support steel
Feature metalwork
General site modifications
Stainless steel fabrication and installation
Miscellaneous steel installs
Most work is on active commercial construction sites, so confidence working around builders, site managers, permits, SWMS, and site safety requirements is important.

What We're Looking For
Qualified Metal Fabricator / Boilermaker (preferred)
Commercial site installation experience
Minimum 3-5 years of commercial site installation experience required
Experience working on Tier 1 and Tier 2 construction projects highly regarded
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
White Card (essential)
EWP, Working at Heights, Dogman or other relevant tickets highly regarded
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Driver's license (essential)
Full Australian working rights required
