Job Description: Candidate will be part of Corporate FX desk. Corporate FX desk performs Trade Validation, exchange of Confirmations, monitoring of underlying exposure documents, FX trades settlement & is also the RP for multiple regulatory submissions. This desk entails ongoing interaction with both external clients and internal stakeholders. This replacement hire is essential to ensure continuity of client service and critical internal operations, while supporting sustainable workloads, consistent performance, and effective risk management.
Responsibilities:
• Perform routine processing tasks under general supervision with minimal impact on internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Support post execution trade processing activities, including:
- Validating trade details
- Issuing trade confirmations to counterparties
- Performing settlement of the trades
- Preparing & submitting Regulatory Reporting
• Ensure all trade processing adheres to internal Desktop Procedures and meets local and global regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accuracy and timeliness in daily deliverables while upholding service quality.
• Escalate exceptions or complex issues promptly and appropriately.
• The candidate should ensure compliance with rules, laws and regulations.
• The candidate would be able to perform role of a maker.
• The candidate should look for process improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
- Candidate should be conversant with the RBI regulations around trading & processing of FX trades.
-Strong follow up skills, demonstrating diligence, professionalism, and timely task completion.
- Eagerness to learn and develop a deep understanding of the products handled by the desk.
- High adaptability with the ability to take on different roles, tasks, and challenges confidently.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
- Prior experience in Foreign Exchange operations for 2-3 yrs and familiarity with relevant regulatory circulars and CCIL functioning is an advantage.
- Self motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision, including knowing when to escalate issues.
- Good understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort with other standard business tools.
