Role Overview:
Global Operations (GBO) within EMEA has an exciting opportunity to expand their EMEA Branch Operations team in Brussels to cover the Operational related administrative tasks for the Benelux. We should a team of 6 associates covering Brussels, Luxembourg and Amsterdam operations tasks.
The EMEA Branch Operations team work closely with other departments within Global Operations and the other lines of business within the Bank across the globe. We provide support to our client facing colleagues and perform local operational tasks, such as controls of account openings, closures, maintenance, incorporations, change of ownership, seizures, authorities' requests, NFRRs.
Job Description:
This job is responsible for analyzing the day-to-day issues, researching, and providing resolution for various issues identified within a business unit. Key responsibilities include supporting defined procedures, routine analytics, and creating reports and completing exception processing.
Responsibilities:
- You will cover administrative functions for the Benelux countries or other EMEA countries part of the organisation.
- You will cover the daily activities such as controls of account openings, closures, maintenance, incorporations, seizures, authorities' requests, NFRRs.
- You will provide support for the client facing colleagues in EMEA
What we are looking for:
- Fluency in Dutch, English and good knowledge of French.
- You will have experience of working in a fast-paced international environment and have the capability to deal with tight deadlines and urgent ad hoc matters.
Skills that will help (optional):
- Business experience with banking regulations on account openings, local products and regulatory requirements and processes for Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg will be an advantage.
- Experience with cash management and treasury products, prior experience in operational banking processes will be preferred.
