Position Summary
The Site Supervisor (Q-Cleared) is responsible for overseeing Q-cleared security escorts and supporting the safe, efficient execution of site operations in accordance with client and security requirements. This position supervises personnel, assigns and manages work schedules, reviews and approves timesheets, and ensures appropriate staffing coverage to meet project needs. The Site Supervisor coordinates daily activities and work requirements with the client, serving as a primary point of contact to address operational needs and resolve issues. This position provides regular updates on personnel, site activities, and overall program performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and provide daily directions to Q-cleared security escort personnel
- Develop, assign, and maintain employee work schedules
- Coordinate daily work activities, priorities, and staffing needs with the client
- Serve as the primary point of contact between security escort personnel, the client, and the Government Program Manager
- Monitor employee performance and provide guidance, training, and support as needed
- Review and approve employee timesheets, ensuring accuracy and timely submission
- Maintain awareness of site activities and personnel assignments to ensure work is performed in accordance with the applicable security and operational requirements
- Coordinate changes to schedules, assignments, and staffing levels based on client and program needs
- Address personnel concerns, scheduling conflicts, and operational issues, escalating matters to the appropriate Program Manager when necessary
- Maintain accurate records related to staffing, schedules, time sheets, and other program activities
- Provide regular status updates and reports to the Government Program Manager regarding personnel, site activities, and operational performance
- Support compliance with all applicable company policies, client requirements, security procedures, and safety regulations
- Participate in required training sessions and safety briefings.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, 6+ years of experience
- Bachelor's Degree, 3+ years of experience
- Active DOE Q Clearance or the ability to maintain an active Q Clearance
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supervisory, site leadership, security escort, or related operational role
- Previous experience supervising and coordinating personnel in a secure, government, or highly regulated work environment
- Experience developing employee work schedules and coordinating staffing requirements
- Ability to supervise multiple employees and effectively assign, prioritize, and monitor daily work activities
- Ability to effectively coordinate and maintain professional working relationships with clients, government representatives, and employees
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and/or move:
- Up to 25 pounds
- Up to 50 pounds
- Ability to visually inspect and interpret data or details
- Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
- May require:
- Exposure to extreme temperatures
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Work in elevated areas or confined spaces
- Extended periods of driving or travel
- Shift work, weekend availability, or on-call assignments
- Ability to remain in a stationary position (e.g., sitting or standing) for extended periods of time
- Ability to move throughout the work environment, including bending, reaching, walking, and climbing stairs
- Frequent use of hands to operate computer systems, tools, or equipment
