Process Overview*
Enterprise Risk & Finance Technology (ERFT) is responsible for all risk & finance related tech platforms and its overall infrastructure. Finance Technology function is responsible of development and maintenance of Finance solutions including ledgers across Bank of America. Team works on various tech & cloud products.
Job Description*.
This role demands an Experienced Test Automation Architect with strong expertise in Java‑based automation and Selenium, capable of designing GenAI‑enabled, 24/7 unattended test automation factory models. Proficient in building reusable frameworks using Python/Java/TypeScript, with hands‑on experience in Litmus, Playwright (good to have), SQL/DBs, and advanced automation tools. Brings solid DevOps and CI/CD exposure (Jenkins, Git, artifacts), cloud and container knowledge (Azure/AWS/GCP, Kubernetes), and excels in stakeholder collaboration, analytical problem‑solving, and continuous automation improvement.
Responsibilities*
Key responsibilities include:
- Architect and implement a GenAI‑enabled test automation factory model to support 24/7 unattended execution.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and scripting languages (Python/Java/TypeScript), with reusable modules and golden patterns.
- Lead hands‑on automation across tools such as Selenium, Litmus, Playwright (good to have), and Sikuli, ensuring high reliability and coverage.
- Integrate automation solutions into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/Litmus, Git workflows, and artifact repositories.
- Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to enable automation on cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and containerized environments (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
- Analyze test, tool, and process metrics to identify inefficiencies and drive continuous automation improvements.
- Work closely with architects, engineering, security, and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication, documentation, and alignment on automation strategy.
Requirements
Education•
- Any Graduation / Post Graduation
Experience Range•
- 6 to 8 Years
Foundational skills*
- Architecture & Solution Design: Ability to assess Gen AI capabilities & architect it towards making test automation factory model - to enable 24/7 unattended test automation solutions.
- Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in scripting (Python/Java/TypeScript); building reusable modules, golden patterns
- Expert Test Automation Exp. (Including all automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Sikuli) - Min. 5 Years hands on Exp
- Selenium Experience - 5 Years (Minimum)
- Java language - 5 Years (Minimum)
- Litmus Experience - 1-2 Years (Minimum)
- Playwright Experience - Good to have
- SQL/ DB knowledge - 2 Year (Minimum)
- Only Strong / Expertise in Automation (Should not be the case , where initially worked in manual & joined any of the automation tools like just few year ago)
- DevOps & CI/CD: Hands‑on with Jenkins/Litmus, artifact repositories, environment provisioning, release orchestration, and Git workflows.
- Cloud & Containers: Practical experience with any of one - Azure/AWS/GCP, Kubernetes (or OpenShift), container registries, and image hardening.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication: Effective collaboration with architects, engineers, security, and business stakeholders; clear documentation and influence skills.
- Analytical Thinking & Continuous Improvement: Data‑driven approach to evaluating tools/processes; proven ability to identify inefficiencies and automate them.
Desired skills*
- Extensive knowledge in Gen AI models & their implementations in test automation
- Experience conducting vendor assessments, drafting evaluation criteria, and guiding enterprise adoption.
- Working with Production teams to help triage production issues and resolve them within SLA.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM and Security modules.
