Key Responsibilities
Full-Stack Architecture & Development
- Design, architect, and develop modern web applications using React, TypeScript, and Vue.
- Build and maintain Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) and API services (REST and/or GraphQL) that aggregate, adapt, and optimize back-end data for UI consumption.
- Translate UI/UX requirements into efficient back-end data models, API contracts, and service boundaries.
- Define and evolve front-end and BFF architectures with a focus on performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
Front-End & Design System Collaboration
- Collaborate with UX and product teams to translate Figma designs into high-quality, reusable UI components aligned with shared design systems and component libraries.
- Drive UI performance optimization, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Contribute to and consume shared component libraries across React and Vue ecosystems.
Cloud Infrastructure & Reliability
- Architect and maintain back-end infrastructure in AWS (EC2, RDS, SQS, SES, ECR) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Own and improve API performance through caching strategies, query optimization, and efficient data transformation.
- Respond to production incidents in a timely manner and contribute to observability, monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana), and reliability initiatives.
Back-End Security
- Integrate authentication and authorization using identity platforms such as Keycloak, including SSO and role-based access control.
- Build secure, maintainable server-side functionality and contribute to security tooling across UI and back-end layers.
Data Management
- Design, evolve, and optimize relational database schemas (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and caching layers (Redis) in support of UI-centric use cases.
- Ensure data consistency, integrity, and performance across services.
Technical Leadership
- Lead code reviews, establish best practices, and ensure consistent engineering standards across front-end and back-end layers.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and contribute to raising the overall quality bar of the team.
- Participate actively in design reviews, sprint planning, and cross-team technical discussions.
Quality & Testing
- Proactively identify technical debt and lead refactoring or modernization efforts.
- Champion high code quality through thoughtful design, automated unit/integration/e2e testing, and CI/CD pipeline discipline.
Qualifications
Required
- Experience: 8+ years of professional experience building full-stack, user-facing web applications, including ownership of production services.
- Front-End: Strong hands-on experience with React in production environments; advanced proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Back-End & APIs: Experience designing and implementing UI-focused back-end services (Node.js, Python, PHP, or similar) using REST and/or GraphQL.
- Databases: Strong experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and time series databases (Prometheus).
- Cloud & DevOps: Experience working in cloud environments with containerization and orchestration.
- UX Collaboration: Experience working closely with UX teams and implementing designs from Figma or similar design tools.
- Accessibility: Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and browser compatibility.
- Tooling & Testing: Solid experience with Git, GitLab CI/CD, and modern automated testing frameworks.
- Debugging: Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across front-end, API, and data layers.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, in-office engineering environment.
Preferred
- Experience with the Laravel framework in PHP.
- Familiarity with identity/auth platforms and API security patterns.
- Background in storage, infrastructure, or data-intensive/enterprise-scale systems.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

- Clear and effective communication with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to code quality.
- Ability to influence technical direction and inspire best practices across the team.
