Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, secure, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure supporting mission-critical operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of complex network environments, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity, compliance, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in secure network operations, infrastructure modernization, and team leadership within high-demand, regulated environments.Key Responsibilities
· Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable network infrastructure across enterprise environments
· Manage and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of mission-critical systems
· Monitor network activity, identify vulnerabilities, and implement mitigation strategies to strengthen security posture
· Lead incident response efforts, including detection, analysis, containment, and recovery from network security events
· Implement and support Zero Trust Architecture and other modern security frameworks
· Oversee patch management, system upgrades, and infrastructure lifecycle planning
· Ensure compliance with federal, DoD, and industry security standards and regulations
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integrations, deployments, and operational requirements
· Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior engineers and support staff
· Manage network-related projects, including planning, execution, and resource allocation
· Maintain documentation for network configurations, processes, and security controls
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
· 10+ years of experience in network engineering, IT operations, or cybersecurity
· Strong expertise in: Network security and architecture; Incident response and vulnerability management; Enterprise infrastructure and communications systems
· Experience supporting large-scale, distributed environments (thousands of users)
· Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex technical operations
· Active Top Secret / SCI clearance (required); CI Poly preferred or ability to pass
Preferred Certifications
· CompTIA Security+, Network+, CySA+, PenTest+
· ISC2 SSCP or similar security certification
· Additional certifications in network security or infrastructure (e.g., CISSP, CCNP, etc.)
