Description

The Simulation Operations Specialist is responsible for the technical, operational, and logistical support of simulation-based healthcare training programs. This role ensures simulation equipment, technology, and mobile training environments are fully operational and prepared for on-site training events across Oregon.

This individual will work closely with simulation faculty, clinical educators, EMS professionals, and hospital teams to create realistic, effective training experiences.

This is an 12-month part-time opportunity with the potential for future employment based on organizational growth and funding availability.

Requirements

• Prepare, transport, set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain simulation equipment and task trainers
• Support simulation events at hospitals, EMS agencies, and healthcare facilities throughout Oregon
• Operate high-fidelity manikins, audiovisual systems, recording software, and simulation technology
• Coordinate simulation room setup, moulage, supplies, and environmental realism
• Assist simulation faculty during training sessions and debriefings
• Maintain inventory of equipment, supplies, and replacement parts
• Clean, store, and organize simulation equipment according to manufacturer and safety guidelines
• Assist with scheduling, equipment tracking, and training logistics
• Create and maintain records related to simulation activities, maintenance, and usage
• Troubleshoot technical issues during training events
• Support procedural skills labs and in-situ simulations
• Promote a professional, collaborative learning environment
• Follow all applicable safety, privacy, and confidentiality requirements
• Must be located in Oregon
