Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.
Global Business Services is recognized for flawless execution, sound risk management, operational resiliency, operational excellence and innovation.
In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview
Equities Cash Technology (ECT), part of Global Markets and Risk Technologies, brings together both Electronic Trading Technologies (ETT) and High Touch trading platforms into a unified engineering organization.
ECT covers a broad set of capabilities, including Client and Market Connectivity, Smart Order Routing, Algorithmic Trading, Internal Crossing Engines, Analytics, Regulatory & Compliance Reporting, as well as High Touch trading applications used by sales traders and execution desks.
The platform supports both low-touch electronic execution flows and high-touch trading workflows, enabling seamless interaction with global clients, trading venues, and internal users. This includes real-time order capture, execution management, pricing support, and advanced decision-making tools for traders.
ECT teams design, build, and maintain highly scalable, low-latency systems that are critical to supporting diverse
trading strategies and client requirements across markets. By integrating electronic

Design and implement end-to-end solutions for low latency java applications. Analyze requirements across markets
and develop low-latency, high-throughput Core Java applications.
As a senior developer, contribute to architecture, mentor team members, and drive engineering excellence.
Leverage GenAI and Copilot tools to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery speed.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable core java applications
- Lead technical design and architecture decisions
- Use GenAI/Copilot to accelerate development, testing, and documentation
- Ensure high-quality, performant, and secure code
- Mentor junior developers
- Collaborate with business and infrastructure teams

Requirements
• Education- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Certifications if any- OCJP (preferred)
• Experience Range- 8-12 years

Foundational skills:
- Core Java, multithreading, java memory model, garbage collection.
- Unix OS exposure
- Low-latency systems
- Git, Gradle
- Agile methodologies
- FIX Protocol

Desired skills
- Equities domain knowledge
